SYNOPSIS

The Red Star Football Club was created in 1897 in Paris by Jules Rimet, one of the major actors of international football and the creator of the Football World Cup. The club moved to the suburban city of Saint-Ouen in 1909 along with heavy industry and immigrant workers. Unpublished archives and testimonies show the close link that has been created over the century between this unique city and the club which is very unique: its location at the very heart of the city, its very popular scale and its many intiatives to involve the citizens in the club and make football affordable...
