SYNOPSIS

A wandering soul for years, Jean-Hugues sets off to discover the world on his own, to meet oppressed peoples and endangered natural spaces. By bike, on foot, by boat, he takes us on journeys full of surprises.

Chile (2021)

In 2020, Jean-Hugues sets out to explore Wallmapu, the ancestral territory of the Mapuche people in Chile. When the pandemic forces him to take refuge in a remote cabin, his journey becomes an unexpected immersion in silence, wilderness and the Mapuche land.

Balkans (2019)

In Bulgaria, Jean-Hugues explores an abandoned Soviet monument, unexpectedly sparking public attention and debate at the European Parliament. Six months later, he returns to cycle through the region, diving into Balkan history and discovering a land of surprising encounters and hospitality.
