SYNOPSIS

Hydrobiologist and underwater photographer Anne-Cécile Monnier takes us on a journey along the world’s rivers, meeting the people who depend on them, live along their banks, and fight to preserve them. Diving beneath the surface, she captures unique images of a little-known ecosystem, filmed with the grandeur of the open ocean.
