SYNOPSIS

Filmed in Turkey, this documentary follows Nancy Van Der Straeten, a 79-year-old Belgian woman living with Parkinson’s disease. With the support of Oznur, a Turkish boxing champion, she fights her symptoms in and out of the ring, convinced that sport can be a powerful response to illness. Her dream is to create a boxing club for people with Parkinson’s. Through her unconventional journey, the film explores resilience, alternative approaches to illness, and the place of those who refuse to let disease define their lives.
