SYNOPSIS

From the late 19th century to the Second World War, the bicycle became a powerful tool for women’s emancipation, challenging social conventions and male resistance. Through the extraordinary stories of pioneers such as Annie Londonderry, Marie Marvingt, Lily Sergueiew and Resistance fighter Jeanne Bohec, the film reveals how cycling transformed women’s freedom, from clothing and sport to travel, independence and political engagement.
