SYNOPSIS

During the Second World War, a German Christian and a Hungarian Jewish communist formed an unlikely intelligence network from neutral Switzerland, despite never meeting. Their transmission of secrets from the German military high command may have played a decisive role in the war on the Eastern Front and the fall of Nazism. Eighty years later, the film investigates this extraordinary espionage mystery and its connections to the emerging Cold War.
