SYNOPSIS
For the past 50 years, drug policies have swung between prohibition and public health. From Switzerland to Portugal, via the Netherlands, Scotland and France, the film explores alternative approaches based on care, harm reduction and regulation. Alongside key figures such as Ruth Dreifuss, addiction specialist Alexandre Feltz and Marica Ferri, who works on drug policy at the European level, it raises a broader question: can Europe forge a new common drug policy that reconciles public health, safety and realities on the ground?
