SYNOPSIS
The Saint Pierre and Miquelon archipelago has a long history. It began long before the arrival of European settlers. Since the 1970s, archaeologists have been unearthing pre-Inuit and Amerindian remains, the oldest of which are 5,000 years old. Who were these peoples who visited the archipelago, where did they come from and what did they come to find? These are just some of the questions that a team of passionate archaeologists are trying to answer during this third and final dig campaign, taking us from France to Quebec and from Newfoundland to Saint Pierre and Miquelon, following in the footsteps of the archipelago's first inhabitants.
