SYNOPSIS

In 2020, Northern Cyprus announced the controversial reopening of Varosha, the ghost town abandoned and sealed off since 1974. Fifty years after its residents were forced to leave, the film investigates whether they can truly reclaim their homes and explores the political and territorial stakes behind the reopening of this city frozen in time.
